Companies with an MSCI ESG rating of “CCC”
MSCI rates companies in terms of sustainability with an ESG score between 0 (very low) and 10 (very high). The database includes: Macro data, company data, government databases, newspapers, scientific publications and news. The key figures are standardized within the sectors (best-in-class approach). The MSCI ESG rating is then derived from the scoring.
Exclusions based on turnover
Companies that generate more than
0% turnover with nuclear and controversial weapons
5% turnover with conventional weapons
5% turnover with civilian weapons (producers)
10% turnover with civilian weapons (retailers)
20% turnover with weapons-related support
10% turnover from oil sands and thermal coal
generate.
