Raphael has been working at OLZ as Senior Portfolio Manager since September 2026.
Before his time at OLZ, he worked as an FX Trader for the Swiss National Bank, where he was responsible for, among other things, the implementation of monetary policy and the management of foreign currency reserves. He got to know and understand the financial markets while at BEKB as trader on several desks.
His academic foundation consists of a MSc. in International and Monetary Economics (MIME) from the universities of Bern and Basel as well as a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Bern and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the HES-SO. Various further qualifications and professional certificates round out his profile.
