Our exclusions

Our funds specifically exclude companies or industries that are not compatible with our sustainability and ESG principles. This means we only invest in companies that act responsibly and adhere to ethical, social, and environmental standards.

Norm-based exclusion criteria

Norm-based exclusion criteria ensure that companies that violate international standards and guidelines such as the UN Global Compact Principles or OECD Guidelines are excluded. This means we only invest in companies that comply with fundamental human rights, environmental standards, and ethical business practices.

Value-based exclusion criteria

Value-based exclusion criteria are based on the convictions and preferences of our investors. Industries or business activities that are incompatible with personal or social values are excluded – for example, weapons, tobacco, or gambling.

Companies with an MSCI ESG rating of “CCC”

MSCI assesses companies in terms of sustainability using an ESG score between 0 (very low) and 10 (very high). The database includes macro data, company data, government databases, newspapers, scientific publications, and news. The key figures are standardized within the sectors (best-in-class approach). The MSCI ESG rating is then derived from the scoring.
