Andreas has been Chairman of the OLZ Board of Directors since 2010.
He studied economics at the Universities of Bern and Rochester (New York, USA) and lectures in financial management at the University of Bern and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences, Winterthur (ZHAW). Since 1997, Andreas has been lecturing at AZEK (Swiss Training Centre for Investment Professionals) in the field of “Modern Portfolio Theory.”
Andreas has 15 years of practical experience at Swiss Bank Corporation and UBS in asset management as Managing Director and member of the European Management Committee. He was responsible for global product management of investment funds, as well as a member of the Management Committee of UBS Switzerland and responsible for segment management and marketing. Andreas then spent seven years as a partner and Chief Financial Officer at Aravis AG (a Swiss venture capital and private equity company specializing in life sciences and renewable energies). Since 2017, he has been CEO of AZEK (Swiss Training Centre for Investment Professionals) and the Swiss Financial Analysts Association SFAA.
